This CPR and AED course kit prepares the layperson to respond to choking, breathing and cardiac emergencies — and how to use an Automated External Defibrillation unit in conjunction with CPR. The course uses a combination of instructor, Video-Self Instruction (VSI) and hands-on training. The programs come with industry-specific training scenarios, allowing instructors to customize course content to make it more relevant to those in certain industries, some of which are high risk. If you would like to issue course completion cards to students who successfully complete this course you must be an authorized instructor through our training center. If you’re already authorized to teach AHA Courses through our training center, you may be qualified to become an authorized NSC instructor.
